Blades of Glory (2007) American comedy starring actors Will Ferrell and Jon Heder, portray two men’s singles skaters who tie for the Gold and set the stage on fire literally. Medals stripped and life ensues in one colossal mishap after another. The two reunite to compete as the first same sex pairing in figuring skating, by an unforeseen loophole and go out on top. Just for giggles!

Cool Runnings (1993) inspired by the four man Jamaican bobsled team, competing in the Winter Olympics having never seen snow. Finishing in 14th place, ahead of the United States, Russia, Australia and France. Funny, entertaining and inspiring!

Movies imitating Life:

Disney’s Miracle (2004) tells the true story of Herb Brooks the head coach of the U.S. Olympic Hockey team that won gold over the Russian Squad in 1980. Motivating, emotional and screams Team USA!

Chariots of Fire (1981) British film, tells the fact based story of two athletes in the 1924 Olympics. Eric Liddell, a devout Scottish Christian who runs for the glory of God and Harold Abrahams, an English Jew who runts to overcome prejudice. Triumphant!
