Holiday in Denver

Looking for something fun to do in Denver this week? There are so many great resources out there to keep the whole family entertained, even some free options. The Denver Art Museum is offering its FREE first Saturday visit of the year this coming weekend on Saturday, December 7th, 2020. General admission is free on the first Saturday of the month thanks to Your 6 Hometown Toyota Stores and the citizens who support the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD). Explore fun things for families (including bilingual programs for the whole family), visit exhibitions throughout the museum, hear storytelling, and more! General admission does not include special ticketed exhibitions.

Or if you are looking to get into the holiday spirit, downtown Denver will be having its Parade of Lights on Friday, December 6th & 7th. The two-mile parade route in Downtown Denver is the stage for Colorado’s brightest holiday tradition. This FREE holiday spectacular features more than 40 units including extravagantly illuminated floats, giant helium-filled character balloons, magnificent marching bands, traditional equestrian units and vibrant cultural entries. And of course, a special appearance by Major Waddles the Penguin and Santa! Grab your hot chocolate and ear-muffs, this year is going to be better than ever!
